  · Application Range ·  

Applied either horizontally to smoothly prepared concrete substrate and compacted earth or crushed stone substrate; or vertically to permanent formwork. Concrete is then cast directly against the adhesive side of the membranes.
●Waterproofing to basements of industrial and civil engineering.
●Pre-applied waterproofing system for walls, tunnels and subways.
●The membrane is not suited to roofs or other internal wet area.

  · Installation Guidance ·  

1. Substrate preparation

Remove all protrusions and clean up the substrate

 

2. Install membrane(loosely laid)
Loosely lay the membranes onto the substrate (ensure the adhesive side to face upward)

 

3. Rolls Overlapping
3.1 Cut edges
Tear down the selvedge release film, adhere adjacent membranes together, then using tools to press overlapping area to insure firm bonding (if necessary, heat the overlapping area, then proceed with overlapping)

 

3.2 Roll end laps
Position special tape strip of appropriate sizes over the lap of beneath membrane, then melt the strip using hot-air welding gun and immediately overlap the adjacent membranes together. Press firmly over lapping area to achieve seamless joints.

 

4. Tie up reinforcement,cast concrete and proceed with other subsequent architectural jobs.

 

 

 Storage & transportation 

● Different types and sizes of materials shall be stored separately, keep in sequence and avoid mess.
● Store materials in dry and ventilated condition, protect from sunshine, rain or other extreme environment
● Storage temperature shall be less than 45℃, the max height of stack is 5 layers.
● Prevent squeezing against membranes during transit, provide cover on top if necessary.

CANLON’s sole obligation shall be, at its option, to replace or refund the purchase of the quantity of the CANLON Membrane proved to be defective and CANLON shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental loss or damage.
